China Glaze Avant Garden Collection ~ Swatches

First off...HELLO!! I'm back (blogging!) - Sorry I haven't uploaded any posts for the last few months, due to work commitments I haven't had much time at all but I am slowly moving things around so I can get time to blog & do video's on Youtube again more regularly :)

Back to the post...
Above are my swatches for the stunning Avent Garden collection by China Glaze - Modeled by myself & my lovely nail technician & friend, Goda.
This collection is so perfect for the upcoming Spring/Summer months but I love that it has a shade for every day & month as it incorporates darks, lights, brights & pastels!

As usual the quality of all the polishes is fantastic, China Glaze never fail to impress.
My favorites: Snap My Dragon, Fade Into Hue, Sunday Fundy & Tart-y For The Party.

Which one's are your favorites? Will you be buying?

Electro Pop is the new collection from China Glaze, and it's definitely my favourite so far! Every single colour is gorgeous and girly!
As usual the formula is perfect, every colour swatched below is just one coat (apart from Techo glitter, which is understandable as it needs building up).

6 Piece Collection of “Brights" include: Techno, Aquadelic, Sunshine Pop, Gaga for Green, Make Some Noise and Wicked Style
6 Piece Collection of “Lights" include: Fuchsia Fanatic, Dance Baby, Electric Beat, Kinetic Candy, Sweet Hook and Gothic Lolita

My favourite shades: Kinetic Candy, Aquadelic, Sweet Hook and Techno!
What are your favourites? Will you be buying?

China Glaze Island Escape Collection Swatches

Take an exotic island escape with China Glaze this summer with a tropical, shimmering rainbow of brilliant bright colours! Mix and match these hot hues to add a candy-like pop to that summer manicure and pedicure. Colours in the collection include:

Senorita Bonita: Purple shimmer with pink micro glitter.

Cha Cha Cha: Vivacious shimmer green

108 Degrees: Berry pink with specks of micro glitter.

Papaya Punch: Crème based vivid orange.

Electric Pineapple: High intensity crème based lime green.

Blue Iguana: Bold and daring sparkly blue.

When i first saw this collection i have to admit it didn't excite as much as other China Glaze previous collections - it wasn't until i put them on my nails i realised that this collection was gorgeous! It has beautiful shimmers and pretty crèmes! Although these colours aren't usually ones i would go for i am so happy i tried them out. They really give an amazing 'pop' of colour to your nails!

My favorite is Blue Iguana - it's such an usual, stunning colour.

All colours were applied with two coats.

Out this Summer 2011. Are you going to be buying them?

China Glaze 'Crackle Glaze' Nail Polish Collection Swatches/Review ~ Amazing!

I received these yesterday and i couldn't be any more amazed with them! They are so fabulous!
China Glaze has just brought out there Crackle Glaze collection, which is an unusual and unique formula which causes the polish to literally crack as it dries. 6 colours to choose from - Black Mesh, Broken Hearted, Cracked Concrete, Crushed Candy, Lightening Bolt + Fault Line.

Above: Black Mesh

Above: Broken Hearted

Above: Cracked Concrete

Above: Fault Line

I am so impressed with this collection, and the best thing is that it's so easy to use! You just swipe it on over a base coat (colour of your choice) then watch the cracks appear.

I did notice that the glossier the nail polish base coat, the better it cracked. I used a China Glaze neon orange under Lightening Bolt and because the neon was a matte polish it hardly made the crackle polish crack.
You can see from this picture the 'crackle' isn't very effective with a matte base. If you use a matte polish, put a top coat over it before applying the crackle.

I love the effect, i love the concept and i love that it takes no time at all! It might not be for everyone but if you like to be a bit different or you love nail art, then these are definitely for you!

It is available in the UK now, i found a website that sells it here: beautychamber.co.uk

What are you thoughts on them?
