Glitter Gal Eyebrow + Lip Pencils + Mini Giveaway

I got some fab pencils from Glitter Gal. They have a really creamy texture and slide on perfectly. The company is based in Australia and they claim they design and manufacture makeup artist quality cosmetics at affordable prices.

Eyebrow Pencils:
 RRP: AUD$6.95
First of all i love the design! The eyebrow pencils come in three different shades - Light, Medium and Dark. For me the light shade was the best, although i have dark eyebrows it helped to lighten them up rather than darken them like most other shades. They come with a built in sharpener in the lid, which is so handy! They also come with an eyebrow comb on the other end - to smooth out any wayward hairs.
This is my favorite eyebrow pencil that i own!

Lip Pencils:

RRP: AUD$6.95
I loved the fact the lip pencils are double ended, so depending on what kind of lip colour you were going for on a particular day you can have the lip liner to suit! Creamy to apply and very blend-able.

They also have a fab range of nail polishes. I'm eyeing up 'Dark Purple' from their Holographic range!

MAC Lazy Day, Politely Pink + Patisserie Lustre Lipstick Swatches

Above: MAC - Politely Pink
My 'Go To' lipstick, i love how subtle it is but it also gives a gorgeous pale nude pink finish with a slight frost. So gorgeous!

Above: MAC - Lazy Day
From the 'Beach Collection', Lazy Day is a lovely muted pink with lavender undertones. It is quite sheer but can be build up very quickly for a more vibrant pink. My favorite this month!

Above: MAC - Patisserie
Almost always described as 'My lips but better' shade...and i have to agree. My lips are a pinky/natural colour which matches this colour very well - although it makes my lips a little more brown than pink. Very moisturising and glossy.

Hello Sexy....Shoes!

I absolutely love Kurt Geiger shoes, i constantly see them in magazines on the likes of Cheryl Cole and other gorgeous celebs! I rarely go on the website as i know the price tag of these shoes are normally £130+ and because i rarely wear heels that often anymore i don't see the point in spending so much (i also have so many i need sell!). They are probably the most beautiful shoes you can buy. Kurt Geiger have their own shoe brand but they also carry other amazing brands like Carvela

I was browsing the website - lusting after almost every shoe on there but i didn't buy. About a week later i had an email about a SALE!! From clicking on the website in the morning, then picking the shoes i wanted, literally took me all day....the website crashed about 30 times due to high demand. I was so worried my order hadn't gone through, but it did.....and here are the beauties i purchased:

Miss KG - Eden
I always find it hard to find a nice pair of light/white heels without them look a bit tacky - but i think i have finally found them. They are not quite white but would look good with any white outfit. These also feel the most secure on my feet.

Carvela - Altitude
For some reason i didn't even notice these heels had the bronzy/gold heel on the website photos, but i am so happy they do! I would have been even more inclined to buy them, they are so beautiful and the heels really set them off!

Carvela - Arrogant
The colour of these shoes blows my mind! They are truly amazing! Unfortunately these are a bit too big (i had to get a size 6 as they only had that or a 7 on the website), but it's nothing an insole can't fix! I can see these heels really setting off an LBD. These are so hard to walk in though, I'm not going to lie!

I'm a so thrilled with my purchases - especially because they were all in the sale! They are such high quality and extremely eye-catching.
I will be doing a blog sale soon, selling off the shoes i don't wear - so make sure you check them out :)

Bee Luscious Cosmetics - Garden Girl Palette Review + Swatches

I am so excited about this palette! When i first received i had a quick look at it and thought it was nice....not until i actually swatched it did i realise how amazing it was! The colours are so vibrant and very unusual. The fab thing about this palette is that it's an 'All-in-one' - you could literally take this anywhere with you (along with your other essentials) and you would be set. In the palette you will find sixteen full size eyeshadows, four full size blushes and two large lipstick pans - amazing right!? Yes.

Eyeshadows

As you can see from the swatches, they are so pigmented and vibrant - absolutely beautiful! The eyeshadows are a mix of different bases:
Polychromatic Shadows offer a prismatic mix of metallic and pearlescent pigments that bring light to the eye.
Dimensional Shadows have gloriously layered matte and pearl pigments and delicate light-catching reflects.
Sheer Satin Shadow gives sheer colour and a soft shimmer finish.
Mineral Shadows are soft shades with delicate shimmer.
Mineral Matte Shadow give a smooth velvety finish with a soft pearlescent shimmery undertone.

Blush

Mineral Matte Blushes are hypoallergenic, and contain matte pigments fused with the pearlescence of minerals giving a matte glow. Their soft, skin-smoothing texture leaves a finish, which highlights whilst deflecting light away from imperfections.
Mineral Blushes are skin-kind, easy-blending, long-wearing, satiny blushes and give a gorgeous shimmery light-catching glow.
Coral Sun is my absolute favorite! Looks fantastic with a tan.

Lips
Above: Tickled Pink

Above: Flamingo

Micro-Bubble Lipsticks offer rich creamy lip-loving colour. They feel so moisturising, and lovely. Of course my favorite is Tickled Pink!

I would highly recommend this palette to everyone, it does cost £67.50 but if you think about what you are getting then it's a great price - the products are also extremely high quality. There are no minis or samples, only full sized products!

You can get this palette from http://www.cocobeau.co.uk/

Violet Sparkle Nails and Candy Nails

I have been experimenting with my new Nubar Nail Art Pens. I had a little rattle of my brain and came up with these two ideas and i have to say i'm quite chuffed with myself!
The pens were so easy to use, both literally took me a few minutes with not even one mistake!

First up are my violet sparkle nails (I do love a bit o'bling!)
The Purple Glitter pen is my favorite, it comes out so evenly and surprisingly very easy to apply. After applying Nubar - Isis Purple, i started in the corner of my nails and brought the lines outwards. I started thicker at the ends and made the tips more gradient. I loved the results!

I wasn't sure how i was going to use the Hot Pink Pen - i can up with this candy stripe effect. Using Nubar 'Oh Baby Pink' underneath. I applied the Hot Pink pen in quick lines - this has a very striking effect and is much more vibrant off camera.

I am very impressed by these nail varnish pens. They come in two different types -
The Striper ~ £4.75
The 2Way Pen ~ £5.95

I think these are fabulous, even if your a novice like me!
What do you think? Do you like 'jazzing' up your nails?
