I ♥ Etsy

Ever since i bought my first items from Etsy i have been obsessed, i love how unusual everything is and that most of it is handmade.
I got a few beautiful pieces from Lizhutnick (my favorite etsy seller!), her items are so unique and interesting.
Here's what i got:
As soon as i saw this birdie ring i fell in love! It is so adorable, it's hand painted and looks amazing. I can honestly say i own nothing else like it, definitely one of a kind!

I had to get another statement flower ring! This one is absolutely beautiful and huge!

Last but not least are these lovely spring inspired hair grips. How gorgeous will these look in the summer with beachy waves in your hair!? Stunning!

NOTD: Nubar - Hot Pink

Above: Nubar - Hot Pink
It's such a gorgeous day out today so i wanted to sport some super bright neon nails.
Neon's are definitely 'In' this summer, with many of the big nail brands bringing out a range of them. Nubar have bought out the Get Hot collection. Hot Pink is such an amazing neon, this is by far the best one i have come across. Unlike most other neon's where you have to apply at least three coats and sometimes a white base coat to achieve a non-sheer finish, with Nubar i only had to use two coats! I was honestly pleasantly surprised and now i want the whole collection. I have already had so many compliments today about my nails!

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Swatches Review

I was searching through ebay when i came across Revlon Colorburst lipsticks. I loved the look of them and the colours seemed exactly what i go for. They are very smooth, have no strong scent and are very moisturising. I also really like the shape of them, they make it really easy to apply.
I bought six of them, i will start off with my favorites going down to my least favorite.

Above: Soft Nude
This is my favorite, the colour is lovely. I hate it when some nudes make you look washed out but this one has some peachy undertones which is warming to the skin. All these lipsticks leave a lovely lustre/sheen finish.

Above: Baby Pink
This one reminded me of a muted Mac Viva Glam Gaga. It has lilac undertones, when applied fully it is a very bright pink. I would wear this one on a daily basis with just a quick sheer coat.

Above: Blush
This colour is a light pinky brown, very close to my natural lip colour. A very natural, subtle shade with a shiny finish.

Above: Lilac
This colour looks lovely with a gloss over the top, it can be quite over powering when applied with a full coverage. It's a lavender shade with a sheen finish, the perfect colour if you're into your lilacs!

Above: Carnation
A burgundy toned pink that is quite garish for me, in the photo i have just applied a light layer as it is very pigmented. I don't think this one suits my skin tone. I think it is best suited for darker tones.

Above: Rosy Nude
This i really didn't like on me, it was quite a muddy brown and had no rose tones to it. Other people have said if your lips are very pigmented (like mine) then it can look very dark. Although i have seen a lot of other people that love this so don't write it off just because it doesn't look good on me.

Over all i love these lipsticks and i am very impressed by the colour collection. I think the quilted packaging looks great too. A thumbs up from me!

Pretty Nails On A Budget: Eyeko Nail Polish

Eyeko recently contacted me asking if i wanted to try some of their products, i accepted right away. I have always loved the look of Eyeko products but i have never actually tried them - so i was so excited to be finally trying them.

I received 4 of the Limited Edition nail polishes. I couldn't believe how amazing these were - and i am not just saying that! These are only £3.50 and are almost just as good as all the high end expensive brands. The colours are beautiful and very 'in' right now. The consistency is a little thick but workable, they dry very quickly so it isn't a problem. I am so happy i have tried them, they are perfect!

Above: Vintage Polish
This is the perfect name for this colour, it is so pretty and unusual. It applies evenly with a lovely shine.

Above: Lilac Polish
Lilac is my favorite colour when it comes to nail polish, i love how it looks. This lilac is stunning and the consistency is perfect.

Above: Nude Polish
This is my perfect nude - although it does look quite a lot different to my skin tone in the picture, it matches quite well in real life. It has peach undertones and slight shimmer which is so pretty. The consistency is amazing unlike most other nude polishes - i wish i hadn't spent my money on OPI Samoan Sand and Coney Island Cotton Candy as this one is far better than them and a lot cheaper! If you're looking for a great nude i would highly recommend this.

Above: Purple Polish
This is a very moody fuschia purple, a great colour if you like darker nail polishes. The consistency is a little more gloopy for this one but it dries quickly and looks fab!

These polishes really are a must have - especially at only £3.50, they are most definitely worth it. They are also limited edition so get your hands on them quickly :)

L'Oreal Color Riche Boosting Serum Lipstick - Freshly Candy Review + Swatches

After seeing the adverts on TV, this lipstick really intrigued me. L'oreal states that the lipsticks are filled in the centre with a boosting serum which helps plump, moisturize and define the lips.

Above: I have applied a full even amount, it glides on evenly and does feel very moisturising. The scent is slightly strange and quite over powering - very similar to baby powder scent.
This colour is 'Freshly Candy' and for me it's a little too pink but it is very pretty.
As for the plumping, i can't feel any tingling but i do think the moisturising effect has made my lips appear fuller and glossier.
Above: I have applied a very sheer layer and i really like the outcome - it's a very subtle glossy pink. I would wear this on a daily bases.

I would give this lipstick a thumbs up but the colour range to me isn't great - i want to see some light pinks/nudes. If you like vibrant or dark colours then i would highly recommend trying these out. The moisturising effect is wonderful!

RRP: £8.99 from http://www.boots.com/

Sleek High Shine Lip Gloss 'A Touch Of Pink' 06 Swatches

Whilst shopping in Superdrug i came across Sleek High Shine Lip Gloss. I picked up shade 06 'A Touch Of Pink' and i am in love! This nude/pale pink is super shiny and this colour is so beautiful.
They are enriched with Vitamin E and micro-pearls which help to make your lips appear fuller.
There are lots of shades to choose from, you can wear them on their own or over a lipstick.
They have a sponge tip applicator which isn't always my favorite but this one picks up a lot of product so you don't have to keep reapplying. It goes on smoothly and evenly.

The best thing them is that they are only £2.99!! Such a bargain.

If you're like me and you love your nude/pale pinks then this shade is for you :)

You can get them in your local Superdrug or at http://www.sleekmakeup.com/.

What do you think? Have you tried them?
